Kinnegar Brewing beer

🍺
Photo coming soon

It started in 2011 as a tiny operation before growing into one of the driving forces of the Irish craft-beer movement, all built around locally sourced Donegal ingredients.

Kinnegar brews a range of hoppy ales and farmhouse-style beers, with Scraggy Bay Amber Ale and the farmhouse Rustbucket among its best known. They're crisp, characterful beers built to be drunk fresh, straight from the brewery's own taproom.

Why it's made this way: Based in Letterkenny, County Donegal — part of the historic province of Ulster that lies within the Republic of Ireland — it represents the Donegal side of Ulster's drinking culture, distinct from Northern Ireland just across the border.
