Toluca's football club is nicknamed 'Los Choriceros' in honour of the city's chorizo.
Pork sausage colored green with serrano chile, cilantro, tomatillo, spinach and pumpkin seeds, fried and served in tacos or in a pambazo roll.
Why it's made this way: It is a specialty of Toluca, where green chorizo is said to have emerged around the 1960s when paprika became expensive.
