It's essentially the same dough as a Hungarian street classic, but Vojvodina's Serbian, Hungarian, and Slovak communities each swear by their own garlic-and-sour-cream topping.
A disc of yeasted potato dough is deep-fried until puffed and golden, then rubbed with garlic and topped with sour cream, grated cheese, or ketchup. It's sold hot from market stalls and lakeside food stands across Vojvodina.
