At Teruel's Vaquilla del Ángel fiesta a giant regañao is baked and shared out in the Plaza del Torico.
A thin, crisp, oval flatbread baked with salted sardines or Teruel ham and strips of red pepper pressed into the dough, bought from bakeries and eaten in hand.
Why it's made this way: It comes from Teruel, where bakeries sell it all year and it is the traditional snack of the Vaquilla del Ángel fiestas, usually with a glass of wine.
