Barraquito

It's named after a regular at a Santa Cruz café nicknamed 'Barraquito', who kept asking for his coffee made this particular way.
The barraquito is a layered coffee drink combining condensed milk, Licor 43, espresso, and steamed milk, finished with lemon zest and cinnamon. It's sipped slowly after a meal rather than knocked back like a quick espresso.
Why it's made this way: Believed to have originated in a Santa Cruz de Tenerife bar in the early-to-mid 20th century, the drink became woven into the Canarian sobremesa ritual of lingering at the table after eating.
