This lager traces its brewery back to a permit granted to Jesuit monks in 1715, making it one of the oldest continuously brewed beer traditions in Ukraine.
Lvivske is brewed at the historic Lviv Brewery, founded when monks were granted rights to brew beer in the city in 1715. The golden lager remains closely tied to Lviv's identity as a historic Austro-Hungarian trading and brewing hub.
Why it's made this way: Lviv's brewery grew into one of the largest in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and its beer culture — pubs, cellars, festivals — is still central to the city today.
