Cornish Rattler Cider

It's named after Cornwall's only native snake, the adder — a nod to the cider's sharp bite — and it's brewed with a variety of apple actually called the Rattler apple.

Rattler is a cloudy, medium-dry Cornish cider with a tangy green-apple bite and a smooth finish, pressed from apples grown on the farm's own orchards. It's served ice-cold, straight from the bottle, at Cornish pubs and seaside food stalls alike.

Why it's made this way: Made by Healeys Cyder Farm near Newquay, a family-run producer using Cornish-grown apples, it's one of the county's best-known exports of its centuries-old cider tradition.
