Curitiba holds a yearly Pão com Bolinho festival where dozens of bars sell their own version at a fixed price.
A big fried beef meatball tucked into pão francês or pão d'água with mayonnaise, often cheese and herbs, sold at the counters of Curitiba's traditional bars.
Why it's made this way: It is a Curitiba boteco classic, with a yearly festival devoted to it.
