Although it is deep-fried diced pork, it is quite different from cracklings: the cubes are usually marinated with soy sauce, vinegar and sugar or sweet rice wine first.
Small cubes of pork are marinated and deep-fried until dry and crunchy. The bits are eaten as a snack or added to other Guizhou foods such as siwawa wraps and changwang noodles.
