Stallhagen Beer

🍺
Photo coming soon

Åland is an autonomous, demilitarized Swedish-speaking island region of Finland — and it brews and bottles its own beer rather than importing it.

Stallhagen has brewed craft beer on Åland since 2004, using local ingredients where possible and running a working brewery and pub open to visitors. It remains the islands' oldest and largest brewery.

Why it's made this way: Åland's distinct autonomous identity, separate from mainland Finland, extends right down to having its own homegrown beer.
