It comes from the Solomons' very first brewery, founded in 1993 by a German and an Australian who decided the islands needed their own beer.

SolBrew is a pale lager brewed by Solomon Breweries in Honiara, the country's original local beer brand launched alongside the simpler SB Lager. It's the standard pour at bars, market-side kiosks, and gatherings across the islands.

Why it's made this way: As the first beer ever brewed in the Solomon Islands, SolBrew carries genuine local-pride status even after the brewery's later acquisition by Heineken.
