Valašský Frgál

Its EU protection spells out the size: a Valašský frgál must be 30–32 cm across, weigh 650–750 g and carry just one filling.
A large, round, flat sweet tart of yeast dough topped edge-to-edge with a single filling, such as dried pear, poppy seed, curd cheese or plum butter, baked and cut into wedges at markets across the Wallachian hills of eastern Moravia.
Why it's made this way: It grew out of mountain farmhouse baking in a poor, pastoral region, and today it's legally protected: to be sold as Valašský frgál, it has to be made in Wallachia and can't mix fillings on one tart.
