Documents show beer was brewed on this exact site as far back as 1340, making Brand's claim to be the oldest brewery in the Netherlands nearly 700 years in the making.

Brand is a crisp, well-balanced Dutch pilsner alongside specialty beers like the amber Dubbel Bok, brewed with water drawn from the brewery's own natural spring. It's the everyday beer of choice across the hilly south of Limburg.

Why it's made this way: Brewed in the village of Wijlre in Zuid-Limburg, a region whose rolling hills and different terroir already set it apart from the flat rest of the Netherlands, Brand is the province's signature beer.
