This wine is grown on just one small plain on the island of Krk — barely 130 hectares — yet it draws its own dedicated summer festival every July, when every cellar in the town of Vrbnik throws open its doors.
Vrbnička Žlahtina is a pale, high-acid white wine made exclusively from the Žlahtina grape grown around Vrbnik on the island of Krk, in the Kvarner Gulf. Light and crisp with a hint of sweetness, it's the classic pairing for the island's seafood and lamb.
